Booking Guidelines : all about booking

If you're considering booking a tattoo session with me, here's everything you need to know about the process.

  • Location: Hinkart tattoo studio, Verlengde Oosterstraat 2, 9711 EN Groningen
  • Working hours: 10:00-17:00 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday)

[Making Appointments]

  • How to book: Appointments are made by email only at tattooist.redas@gmail.com
  • Empty the whole day for your session.
  • Rescheduling: You can change your appointment date once for free.
    If you need to reschedule again, a new deposit will be required
  • Health considerations: If you have any medical conditions, please consult your doctor before getting a tattoo.
    This is especially important if you are     pregnant, breastfeeding, have skin issues, or take medication regularly. In such cases, please inform me in advance

 

[What I expect from your first mail]

 

[Contact & Design]

  • I recommend that you do not design the tattoo yourself
    Instead, trust me to create something unique for you.
  • Consultation: One week before your appointment, I will ask about your tattoo idea via text message.
  • Submitting ideas: Email me in English with your concept and a clear photo of the body part to be tattooed.
  • Design process: Once your design is ready, I will contact you—please be patient.
  • Small tattoos (under 3 hours): The design will be discussed on the day of your tattoo appointment.
  • Making changes: If you want a significant change or a completely different design, decide before I reach out via text. If you come up with a new idea during the process, you will need to book a new appointment with a new deposit.

 

[On the Day of Your Appointment]

  • Rest well (get a good night's sleep)
  • Eat breakfast-don't skip it
  • Arrive clean (shower before coming)
  • Bring snacks for yourself
  • Punctuality: If you're more than 30 minutes late, your deposit will not be refunded.

[During the Tattoo Session]

  • I usually don't talk much and wear headphones to focus
  • Stay quiet and steady (bring something to read, watch, or listen to)
  • No companions: Even for matching tattoos, I ask that your friends or family wait elsewhere. Having someone around can be distracting for both of us
  • Breaks: I take a 30-minute lunch break after 2 to 2.5 hours of tattooing

[After Your Tattoo Heals]

You're always welcome to show me how it has healed!

If you need a touch-up, email me with:

  • The date you got the tattoo
  • Your preferred dates for a visit
  • Clear photos of the healed tattoo

Touch-ups are free, unless the tattoo was damaged due to improper aftercare. In such cases, the original hourly rate applies.
